Hello,

I tested the installation of Update 3 in September on my laptop and ran
into some problems.
One of the problems was that I got the message "The procedure entry
point @***@initialization$qqrv could not be located in the
dynamic link library DbxCommonDriver100.bpl"

This problem was suddenly solved a week later when I looked at the
problem again on my laptop.

I heard last Friday that Update 3 is better than Update 2, so I
downloaded de update and installed it on my development PC.
When recompiling my packages, I again get the above mentioned problem
with my 2nd package when trying to install this package after a
succesfull build.

I did the following when trying to solve the problem
- Restarted my PC.
- Deleted all .dcu files.
- There is only 1 DbxCommonDriver100.bpl file in the System32 folder
with date 26-08-07

How can I install this package ?

Thanks,
Hubert

Hello,

I just tried it again, but now I installed the package with Component,
Install Packages...

With this command Delphi 2007 is suddenly not complaining anymore, but
in the Welcome page I get in the right upper corner in red:
TCodeGear.Create(); and only the CodeGear Logo is visible. Furtheron the
page is empty.

Why is it not possible to install a package with: right click in Project
panel on packagename, Install ?

Thanks,
Hubert

Hello,

I deleted all my packages in Delphi 2007 and rebuilt the first package.
When I tried to Install the package, I got the DbxCommonDriver100 error.

Then I deleted dsnap.dcp in the requires list and built the package.
Delphi 2007 asked to add the dsnap.dcp file and after the rebuild, it
installed the components automatically.

Why does it function now ?

Hello,

The problems are solved after 3.5 days. I had to deinstall Delphi 2007,
run the Windows Install Clean Up and install Delphi 2007 Update 3.

It would be easier if the registration windows gives some information
about how to get the reg...txt file if the PC is not connected to internet !
