Hello All,
I just installed update 3 to D2007Win32.
I received an error on startup, which I dismissed - don't load module on
startup !
Turns out I am now missing the dbExpress components and several, presumably
related packages. On trying to install these (Component - Install packages)
I get the message:
The procedure entry point @***@TDBXDatabaseMetaDataEx@ could not be
located in the dynamic link library DbxCommonDriver100.bpl
which, on dismissing with the OK button leads to the message
Can't load package c:\program files\codegear\rad
studio\5.0\bin\dcldbx4100.bpl The specified procedure could not be found.
I am not very happy about this, and would appreciate some help ! Don't know
if it is a related issue but I now have two repair items in my Codegear Rad
Studio program group:
Modify, Repair, Uninstall and
RAD Studio Modify, Repair, Uninstall
Finally, since I have Studio level SA, I am expecting my email about upgrade
soon - don't know whether I'd do better to wait to install my upgrade to the
whole of Highlander and see if the problem just goes away ?
Any help or constructive comments appreciated. Not a great user experience !
Regards and best wishes
