I'm not sure why I am having a problem, or what I'm missing but I just
cannot seem to install my upgrade.

I run vista, I have D2007 Update 3 installed and working perfectly.

I have downloaded the 769MB Studio Install and I have a "New Serial Number"
that was provided to me by CodeGear.

When I dbl click on the SETUP.EXE file that is in the download Install
folder,

I choose Upgrade (Enter a new license key to upgrade)
I enter my "New Serial Number" then I get a pop up stating "Invalid License
Configuration File"

Do I NEED to completely uninstall D2007 first and is this why I am getting
this message? And .. if so,
will it then recognize my new serial number? Will I have to reinstall all
of my components?

..... or am I just an idiot,

mike,

ps. thanks in advance for any insight

Try finding and deleting any CGLM.INI files on your harddrive. Look in
the c:\documents and settings directory in particular.
