Help! I installed the Studio 2007 update on vista, now it won't start at
all.

Splash Screen appears then immediately an Exception in NTDLL.DLL

What now ?

Now I'm getting frustrated. Uninstalled D2007 completely. Deleted All
folders (hidden or otherwise) with Borland or Codegear. Went to the
registry, deleted anything labeled Borland, Codegear. Ran a registry
cleaner.

Installed RAD Studio from the download as a new install. Everything went
100%.

Crashes on startup.

Makes me wonder if anyone at codegear is testing on vista ????

We do, extensively, and we don't see this error.

However, we do have three test cases from customers with this same
problem.

I'd suggest starting a support case at http://support.codegear.com

I'm sorry for the trouble -- we are working on figuring out what the
issue is.

Well, then my next step is to do a clean install of vista. Should be no
excuse why it won't run then right ?

Do you install with UAC enabled? try disabling UAC. Run ALWAYS like
administrator.

That help me in the past (when i use vista) ;)

Now i use ubuntu and my developer machine with delphi inside a
virtualbox VM. Im happy now. :)

Mike, could you provide the exact exception error message?

Thanks.
